Supervision

At The Charles Street Clinic both Darin Cairns (Clinical Psychologist) and Rachel Gallagher (Clinical Psychologist and Education & Developmental Psychologist) have provided supervision to provisionally registered (4+2 or 5+1) and general registered psychologists seeking general registration or specialist title with the Psychology Board for almost 20 years. Both Darin and Rachel are Registered with AHPRA and have recently completed the most up to date Advanced Clinical Supervision MasterClass workshop.

We offer the following supervision

  1. AHPRA supervision
  2. Mentoring for psychologists wanting specific support with cases and/or seeking general mentoring
  3. Training in specific domains of interest (see education and training below).

Education & Training Programs

The Charles Street Clinic has provided training program support to numerous agencies in WA, such as the Department of Education, the Department of Communities and the Family Court of Western Australia. We have also been invited to present training courses to numerous professional bodies such as the Australian Psychological Society, School Psychology Association of Australia, Speech Pathology Australia and ABA Australia. Our training courses have been implemented both nationally and internationally, online and in person.

To date the team at The Charles Street Clinic, has provided 250+ training courses in almost every state of Australia and in 6 different countries. Third-wave cognitive behavioural approaches and an understanding of human development across the lifespan connect all the courses.
